The Beijing Consensus :
China's Authoritarian Model
Will Dominate the Twenty-First Century ;
It is a solid rebuttal to the post-Cold War
euphoria about the inevitable triumph of
democratic capitalism and the creation of a
harmonious new world order.
China's rise will validate its brand of authoritarian
capitalism (essentially a rebirth of fascism) which
is competing with the West's liberal ideals as the
model for future progress.
China's ability to weather the recent financial
crisis that gutted America and Europe has only
raised its reputation in the rest of the world.
Note what is happening
at the World Trade Organization,
"Chinese companies stand to gain billions
if Beijing's diplomats can outmaneuver the
United States and the European Union, which
accuse China of unfair competitive practices
and inadequate bankruptcy
and intellectual-property laws."
The U.S. championed China's membership in
the WTO as a way to make it play by the rules.
That Beijing could form a global alliance
of non-Western states to change the rules
seems to have escaped American officials.
Beijing has invested around the world ;
That China has placed $62.2 billion in Africa
and $49.5 billion in the Middle East in pursuit
of oil and natural resources in not surprising, but
that $59.0 billion of Chinese capital has gone into
the North America and $53.1 billion into Europe
is alarming.
While most of this money has also gone for raw
materials, there have also been investments in
banking, high-tech firms, and shipping.
Deficit ridden Western governments beg for
access to Beijing's massive currency reserves.
The origin
of these funds is China's massive trade surplus.
Western consumers are thus footing the bill
for Chinese expansion, the largest international
transfer of wealth in history

Insofar as authoritative Shariah clearly entails
the realization of a transnational Islamic theocratic
state, its adherents are committed to, among other

through violent means if necessary.
Federal statutes define such
activity as sedition and prohibit it.
Specifically,
a statute known as the Smith Act
(18 U.S. Code § 2385), states :
Advocating overthrow of Government
Whoever knowingly
or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches
the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of
overthrowing or destroying the government of
the United States or the government of any State,
Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the
government of any political subdivision therein,
by force or violence, or by the assassination of
any officer of any such government ; or
Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow
or destruction of any such government, prints,
publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes,
or publicly displays any written or printed matter
advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity,
desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying
any government in the United States by force or
violence, or attempts to do so ; or
Whoever
organizes or helps or attempts to organize
any society, group, or assembly of persons who
teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or
destruction of any such government by force or
violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates
with, any such society, group, or assembly of
persons, knowing the purposes thereof- Shall be
fined under this title or imprisoned not more
than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible
for employment by the United States or any
department or agency thereof, for the five years
next following his conviction
